TalkShop
Series Co-Manager & Producer
TalkShop is about bringing together communities to have unfiltered conversations about identity in the current cultural climate. The concept came out of several friends realizing there aren't often spaces made for marginalized identities to have candid conversations without outside groups inserting their opinion. We also realized that we could use the series to make a digital version of the fishbowl method. In unconscious bias trainings, the fish bowl method is when one group goes in the center of a circle and has conversations related to identity while the surrounding group watches in silence. Our small team worked together to launch and produce 5 episodes of the web series.
Responsibilities included writing discussion guide and narrative arch scripts, casting, production management, storyline editing.
