Genentech Question Reality

Creative Producer​

 

Medically marganizalized communities have not had equal access to quality health care, from experiencing a lack of resources to navigating inaccurate care from systemically biased medical professionals. This crisis, building over time, has led to increased mortality rates and requires not only deep commitment to overcome it but also actions to change it. Biotech brand Genentech asked us to create a short film that highlights negative health experiences and questions from medically marginalized populations to shine a light on systemic health inequities.

Our team interviewed Genentech employees about their experiences in the health care system, and collaborated with director Courtney Sofiah Yates to create a film to help start conversations between members of the medical industry about the reality of the current state of healthcare.

 

Responsibilities included development, creative strategy, and production management.
